In late 2005, the American publisher Wiley & Sons approached me about creating their first title focused on an open source content management system. I jumped on the opportunity, and my first full length tech book, the Mambo Visual Blueprint, was born. Little did either I nor Wiley six that we were embarking on a long relationship. Since that first title, I have written an additional five titles for Wiley, including three in the popular Bible series and one for the hugely popular For Dummies series.
Across the pond in Europe, I established a relationship with Packt Publishing, a respected tech speciality publisher. Working with Packt, I created the Drupal Themes series — books designed to help people crack the notoriously dense presentation layer of the Drupal open source CMS. That relationship also lasted a number of years, with me producing not only three Drupal Themes titles, but also titles on WordPress and on SEO for Drupal and Joomla!
I’ve been lucky to work with these two great publishers over the years and below you can find a list of all the tech titles I have published over the years. Some are still available on Amazon, if you are interested to learn more. Thanks for your support!
