The World’s First Decentralized Philanthropy Event

BitGive, the first Bitcoin 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing cryptocurrency fundraising opportunities to philanthropies in need worldwide, has announced its first ever virtual event: “De-Phi” (Decentralized Philanthropy) Crypto for Good Conference to be held on November 18th, 2020.

The De-Phi conference is the first of its kind featuring and highlighting the people, projects, and organizations who are genuinely and actively leveraging bitcoin, cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology to help others and improve our world. I will be speaking on a panel discussing Social Impact and Blockchain and I hope some of you can join us.

Headlining the event as the main keynote speaker is Dan Pallotta, an activist, humanitarian, author, and builder of movements whose iconic TED Talk on philanthropy has been viewed more than 4.9 million times. Themes for the event include Decentralized and Digital Philanthropy, Cryptocurrency Across Borders, Leveraging Crypto for Good, and Social Impact and Blockchain. Sessions will stretch across a number of timezones throughout the day to accommodate a global audience.

Lead sponsor for the DePhi event is Vesper by Bloq, and additional sponsors include Vector Crypto Capital, BitPay, BitGo, and Elizabeth Rossiello, Founder and CEO of BitPesa and AZA Finance.

Registration for the conference is FREE thanks to the wonderful sponsors of the event, but spots are limited. Learn more and register to attend at https://www.bitgivefoundation.org/conference2020/.
